‘The growths from the small vineyards are characterised above all by the fact that they are all very ‘straight’ - straightforward and unadorned. This means that they are less characterised by primary aromas and are instead multi-layered, spicy, profound and concentrated. All have a fine maturity, but above all an enormous length. This makes them the perfect accompaniment to food.’
